I have no experience with martial arts, can I still train with you?

Yes, of course. We are a Jiu-Jitsu school, and we work with both beginners and experienced practitioners. It's best to start with a trial session in a beginner class. We are happy to help you with your first steps in martial arts and to support you in your further development!

 

 

I am not athletic, can I still train Jiu-Jitsu with you?

Yes, of course. Our training is inclusive and integrative. The beginner training helps you get accustomed to the sport and develop your abilities.

 

 

Am I too old for Jiu-Jitsu training?

You are not too old for Jiu-Jitsu training. It's best to start with a trial session in a beginner class. We think you will enjoy it, and we look forward to training with you!

 

 

From what age do children train at your school?

Every child is different. In the Tiny Champions class, children start training at 3 years old. Some may be ready earlier, others later. It's best to sign up for a trial session and see.

 

 

In which language are the classes conducted?

We speak various languages at the school. The classes are usually conducted in German or English. We ensure that everyone is well accommodated and that the content is conveyed clearly and understandably.

 

 

Can I sign up for a trial session with you?

Yes, of course. It's best to send us a short message on WhatsApp, email, or visit a beginner class. Feel free to check out the answer to the next question as well.

 

 

What should I bring to a trial session?

Please bring a water bottle, flip-flops, and a towel! You will receive a Gi (training kimono) and a rash guard (training T-shirt) from us for the trial session at no cost.

 

 

How much does a trial session cost?

A trial session is free.

 

 

How much do visitors pay to train at your school?

This question is not easy to answer. It depends on whether you train at another Gracie Barra school or not, and how often you want to train with us. Visitors from other academies are welcome, but will need to rent a Gi from us.

 

 

Do you offer 10-classes cards?

No, we do not offer 10-session cards. For visitors who are in the city temporarily, we will find a suitable solution. We place great importance on the quality of martial arts training and believe that 10-classes cards or similar are detrimental to the training.

 

 

I can't find any prices, how much does it cost to train at your school?

We discuss contract options and costs in person and on-site. Visit us for a trial session or during our training times. We won't try to sell you a refrigerator or a vacuum cleaner; we are happy to personally advise you on the possibilities of training Jiu-Jitsu with us.

 

 

I come from another team, can I train at your school?
